It was created by the author to alleviate the process of selecting a different color without having to hack into the registry every single time. With MSN Color Selector, all you have to do is choose the desired color from the hexagonal color palette, or, alternatively choose from a popup dialog of more than 16 million colors. When you have finished selecting your color, click the "Save Changes" button to save the information to the registry. It's as easy as that!
