Orion lets you not only monitor availability and utilization but manage and report on you SLA's. The Orion Network Performance Monitor (NPM) from SolarWinds combines live fault management network maps with a very robust web based bandwidth performance graphing engine as well as real-time and historical reports.
The Orion NPM is a full featured fault and bandwidth performance management application that allows you 7x24 access to alerts and bandwidth utilization via any web browser. Orion will send an alert to your phone or pager to moment a network performance issue occurs. Like all SolarWinds Networking tools, the Orion NPM installs in minutes and allows you to begin viewing results in less than an hour.
Orion's Network Maps allow you to graphically view the status of your network. The report writer lets you produce detailed weekly and monthly availability reports. The Orion NPM utilizes SNMP & ICMP and does not require installation of any additional hardware or software agents on your network. The customizable fault management alerting capability of the Orion NPM will give you the piece of mind knowing you will be the first to be alerted of a network outage or performance issue.
